Marc is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), a Fellow of the Association for Project Management (FAPM), a Member of the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (MCInstCES) as well as holding an honours degree in Quantity Surveying (BSc [Hons]).

Marc is currently Transport for NSW’s (TfNSW’s) Transaction Director leading Thinc’s team providing Transaction Management Services to on the Sydney Light Rail Inner West Extension Project.

Marc has nearly 30 years practical experience of project and commercial management, quantity surveying and consultancy services within the public and private sectors working on major social and economic infrastructure projects.

He has particular experience in the procurement, development and negotiation of a range of PPP/PFI Projects in the UK and has a good practical understanding of the National PPP Guidelines. As an experienced advisor and having worked for both the public and private sectors on many projects, Marc has an excellent understanding of the differing requirements, needs, objectives and perspectives of both.

Marc has procured, developed, evaluated and negotiated many PFI/PPP and other contracts working alongside legal and financial advisors on large social and economic infrastructure projects.

Marc is used to working within integrated project team environments in a collaborative manner and is very much a team player.

Marc’s broad experience has also included taking responsibility for the procurement, negotiation, evaluation and contract signature of the large civil engineering and railway contract packages for the Channel Tunnel Rail Link project as well as establishing the development site for the Heathrow Express Rail Link followed by the procurement, tendering, and commercial management of the stations, tunnels, railway and fit-out contracts.
