Thinc’s State and Local Government team was engaged by North Queensland Bulk Ports to provide project management, superintendency and onsite supervision on the Abbott Point Coal Terminal project. The project involves the complete redevelopment of the existing administration precinct situated adjacent to the main entry point to the terminal. Substantial new construction will be undertaken in the course of this project in order to increase the port’s capacity from 50 Mtpa to 110 Mtpa.
Our team’s ability to successfully liaise with multiple stakeholders was a key contributor to the success of this project, as was our ability to implement a wide range of projects controls and systems. As a result, this project was completed on time and within budget.
