Our client engaged our Aged Care team to work on a large project which involves the demolition of existing infrastructure and the subsequent construction of a 140-bed high and low care aged care facility incorporating dementia care, a well-being centre, administration, car parking and landscaping. The client engaged Thinc to manage the design development through to DA approval, tender documentation and the awarding of a building contract, and to take on the role of superintendent of the contract during construction. A key consideration for our team will be that project, once complete, demonstrates the quality associated with Amity Group while also keeping the project within budget. Our systems for managing quality and cost are helping to ensure both these indicators remain on track.
