Thinc’s Tourism team was engaged by the Tourism Development and Investment Company, Abu Dhabi to handle the Monte Carlo Beach Club, one of the first projects to be located on Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates. A luxury leisure development, the Monte Carlo Beach Club is inclusive of bars, restaurants, gymnasium, spa facilities, two pools and associated cabanas, and provides direct access to a pristine beach on the Arabian Gulf. The Monte Carlo Beach Club is also home to a conservation area within a dune protection zone where a rare turtle species makes seasonal visits.
A key undertaking by our Tourism team was the value engineering of the project to meet the client’s budgetary targets, while maintaining project’s integrity and completion dates. As a green field development (and one of the first on Saadiyat Island) our team was also required to navigate – and to help establish – approval processes with the local and state based authorities, and to coordinate multiple stakeholders to ensure the project was successfully delivered.
