New Children’s Hospital, Western Australia

Helping to provide the best possible care for generations

Thinc Health has been engaged to provide service and facility planning advice; develop models of care; prepare stakeholders for a rapid design process; and provide strategic capital planning advice for the New Children’s Hospital, Western Australia.

The $1.2 billion facility will provide the best possible clinical care for future generations and will be the base for continuing WA’s outstanding paediatric research.

The 274-bed hospital will provide tertiary-level health services and key secondary health services including inpatient and outpatient care and ambulatory care services.

Replacing Princess Margaret Hospital, the new facility will be located on the QEII Medical Centre site in Nedlands. Construction began in January 2012 and is due for completion in 2015.
