New Children’s Hospital, Western Australia

The Thinc Health Advisory team was engaged by the Western Australian Government as technical advisors on the $1.5B New Children’s Hospital, which is to be located at the QEII Medical Centre campus at Nedlands. This project involves a number of components, including a world-class 274-bed paediatric hospital with additional operating rooms. It will also provide specialised services such as intra-operative MRI and will also offer enhanced ambulatory care services. In addition, it is to house an Integrated Research and Education Facility incorporating the Telethon Institute of Child Health Research. The Thinc Health Advisory Team will develop the project documentation and provide technical advice throughout the life of the project, which is open in 2015.
