Thinc’s State and Local Government team was approached by representatives of Mount Annan Botanic Garden to design and implement a PlantBank, a science, conservation and education facility. Expected to take three years from inception to completion, this $19.8M state-of-the-art research centre will incorporate world-class laboratories; climate controlled glasshouses and growth chambers; offices; a research library; dedicated teaching laboratory; NSW seedbank and backup power generation; conference facility and interactive space which will enable vital research and conservation programs to continue. Our team’s reputation for working in a highly collaborative manner – coupled with our technical expertise – was a critical aspect of our success in winning this project.
