This project is intended to position QUT at the forefront of higher education in Australia through the creation of a state-of-the art science and technology precinct at the QUT Gardens Point campus. The redevelopment includes 16,000sqm of new integrated teaching and research space, 5000sqm of student services, administration and retail facilities, a new gym as well as underground car parking and water storage. Our Education team has total responsibility for project delivery. As such, our role spans extensive stakeholder and user management, design and cost management within demanding project guidelines, achievement of a five star ESD rating under the university green star rating tool, and a complex staging strategy. Our Education team’s experience in delivering large and complex ventures – as well as our expertise in design management, programming, staging and communication with multiple stakeholders – is contributing to a highly successful outcome.
