Thinc’s Retail team was engaged by ING Real Estate in a number of roles on the Waterfront City project, which has seen a former industrial precinct in Melbourne’s Docklands transformed. Initially, our Retail team provided contract administration services in the latter stages of the construction of Waterfront City Stage 1A, which included the fitout of ING Real Estate’s own offices. Subsequently, our team was appointed to assist ING implement and manage the cost management system for all the projects within the entire development. Our team provided the implementation management, cost management software, training to ING staff, and the ongoing transaction and monthly reporting for the cost management system. Additionally, we were appointed to manage the tenancy coordination and related contract administration services for the entire retail offering within the site. Our collaborative approach – which saw us undertake extensive liaison between the client, builder, contract administrators, design team, quantity surveyor, the real estate and marketing teams – allowed us to achieve a highly successful outcome on this project.
